5. Abraham Alexander³ Jones (Henry Barton², Richard¹) was born in Mt. Crawford, Virginia 19 May 1857. Abraham died 6 Nov 1936 in Fishersville, Virginia, at 79 years of age. His body was interred in Tinkling Springs Cemetery, Augusta County, Virginia.

He married Ida Martha Wenger in Fishersville, Virginia, 22 Dec 1886. Ida was born in Illinois 12 Nov 1865.⁽³¹⁵⁾ Ida was the daughter of John Whitmore Wenger and Mary Elizabeth Cress. Ida died 26 Aug 1938 in Fishersville, Virginia, at 72 years of age.

Abraham Alexander Jones and Ida Martha Wenger had the following children:

+ 17 i. Harry Allen⁴ Jones was born 25 Sep 1887.

+ 18 ii. Omer Preston Jones was born 24 Sep 1890.

19 iii. Paul Wenger Jones was born 25 Dec 1892. Paul died 29 Mar 1984 at 91 years of age. His body was interred 31 Mar 1984 in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausole, Bluewell, West Virginia.⁽³¹⁶⁾ He married Merla Cook. Merla was born 25 Jan 1891. Merla was the daughter of Millard Fillmore Cook and Mary Canterberry. Merla died 1978 at 87 years of age.

+ 20 iv. John Raymond Jones was born 26 Oct 1894.

21 v. Mary Elizabeth Jones was born 11 Mar 1898. Mary died 24 Aug 1986 at 88 years of age. She married Paul Cornett. (See Paul Cornett for the continuation of this line.)

22 vi. Henry Clyde Jones was born 9 Feb 1902. Henry died 11 Feb 1902 at less than one year of age.
