2 i. Magdalena (Martha)² Basler was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania 24 Jun 1804. Magdalena died 12 Feb 1880 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, at 75 years of age. She married Samuel Kendig in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.⁽³⁵⁾ Samuel was born in Strasburg, Pennsylvania 6 Jan 1803.⁽³⁶⁾ Samuel was the son of Heinrich (Henry) Kendig and Mary (Maria) Groff. Samuel died 9 Jan 1879 in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, at 76 years of age.⁽³⁷⁾ His body was interred in New Providence Mennonite Cem., Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.⁽³⁸⁾ (See Samuel Kendig for the continuation of this line.)
