17. Harry Allen⁴ Jones (Abraham Alexander³, Henry Barton², Richard¹) was born 25 Sep 1887. Harry died 19 Apr 1959 in Waynesboro, Augusta County, Virginia, at 71 years of age.

He married Bessie Bell Tuggle. Bessie was born in Mercer County, West Virginia 6 Apr 1889. Bessie was the daughter of Henry Harrison Tuggle and Esther Jane Calfee. Bessie died 7 Apr 1981 in Waynesboro, Augusta County, Virginia, at 92 years of age.

Harry Allen Jones and Bessie Bell Tuggle had the following children:

+ 32 i. Earl Tuggle⁵ Jones was born 20 Sep 1914.

33 ii. Evelyn Juanita Jones was born 6 Mar 1916. She married twice. She married Ray P. Frasher. Ray was born 17 Mar 1918.⁽³¹⁷⁾ Ray was the son of Oliver Marion Frasher and Catherine Moore. Ray died 24 Jun 1952 at 34 years of age. (See Ray P. Frasher for the continuation of this line.) She married Houston Herndon Jr. Houston was born 10 Sep 1913. Houston was the son of Harry Houston Herndon and Hazel Lee Fretwell. Houston died 30 Nov 1993 in Waynesboro, Augusta County, Virginia, at 80 years of age.⁽³¹⁸⁾ His body was interred 3 Dec 1993 in Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro, Augusta County, Virginia.⁽³¹⁹⁾

34 iii. Mary Elizabeth Jones was born 3 Jul 1917. Mary died 18 Feb 1993 in Fairfax County, Virginia, at 75 years of age. She married twice. She married Joseph Sholtis. Joseph died 9 Feb 1996.⁽³²⁰⁾ She married John Joseph Meek 6 Mar 1942. John died May 1974 in Waynesboro, Augusta County, Virginia.⁽³²¹⁾ (See John Joseph Meek for the continuation of this line.)

+ 35 iv. Harry Allen Jones, Jr. was born 5 Aug 1919.

+ 36 v. Richard Lee Jones was born 20 Jun 1921.

37 vi. James Frederick Jones was born 3 Nov 1923. James died 29 Apr 1947 in Salem, Virginia, at 23 years of age.

+ 38 vii. Paul Wenger Jones was born 3 May 1925.

39 viii. Helen Louise Jones was born in Covington, Virginia 7 Jul 1929. Helen died 17 Sep 2005 in California, at 76 years of age. She married Robert Shelton Ames in Welch, Mcdowell County, West Virginia, 22 Dec 1951. Robert is the son of Howard Earl Ames and Marie Martin. 40 ix. Martha Jane Jones was born in Staunton, Virginia 17 Nov 1932. She married Edward Thurston in Waynesboro, Augusta County, Virginia, 11 Jul 1983.
