He married Valerie Lynn Jones in Kensington, Maryland, 22 Nov 1986. Valerie was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia 10 Apr 1963. Valerie is the daughter of Earl Tuggle Jones Jr. and Marjorie Lou Mullins.

3 i. Heather Stacy³ Connell was born in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia 23 Aug 1982. She married Ryan Dean Richins in Orem, Utah, 25 Jun 2005. Ryan was born in Provo, Utah County, Utah 2 Jan 1982. Ryan is the son of Dean Keith Richins Jr and Sharon Annette Bowen.

4 ii. Meaghan Tovey Connell was born in Provo, Utah 22 Oct 1987.

5 iii. Spencer Ward Connell was born in Fairfax, Virginia 16 Jan 1991.

6 iv. Cameron Wenger Connell was born in Fairfax, Virginia 17 Oct 1993.

7 v. Madison Evans Connell was born in Provo, Utah 19 Aug 1995.

8 vi. Cassidy Ford Connell was born in Orem, Utah, Orem, Utah 23 Dec 1997.⁽⁷⁹⁾

9 vii. Caitlyn Phelps Connell was born in Orem, Utah 8 Apr 2000.
