He married Alice Kendig. Alice was born 1 Jun 1734. Alice was the daughter of Jacob Kendig and Alice Wade. Alice died 3 Sep 1823 at 89 years of age.

Jacob Groff and Alice Kendig had the following children:

9 ii. John Groff. He married Anna Forrer. Anna is the daughter of Christian Forrer and Mary Herr.
