14. William J.2 Burdette Jr (William1) was born in Monroe County, Virginia about 1804. William died 7 May 1861 at 56 years of age. Although the date of death was reported as 7 May 1861, his will, provided by his great-great-grandduaghter Vera Burdette Taylor, was written and witnessed on 4 May 1862. It is probable that his death year is 1862 and the will was written shortly before his death.

He married Sarah Ann Young 13 Jan 1819. Sarah was born in Virginia 1804. Sarah died May 1863 at 58 years of age.
