He married Minnie Lydia Derifield 17 Dec 1924.⁽⁶²¹⁾ Minnie was born in Wise County, Virginia 25 Oct 1905.⁽⁶²²⁾ Minnie was the daughter of James Morgan Derifield and Bertie Holbrook. Minnie died 15 Jul 2003 in Erwin, Tennessee, at 97 years of age.⁽⁶²³⁾

Dewey Ernest Robinette and Minnie Lydia Derifield had the following children:

3 i. Ernest R.³ Robinette was born in Carfax, Virginia 27 Oct 1925.⁽⁶²⁴⁾ Ernest died 13 Feb 2004 in Erwin, Tennessee, at 78 years of age.⁽⁶²⁵⁾ He married Helen Wolfe in Erwin, Tennessee, 14 Nov 1947.⁽⁶²⁶⁾

4 ii. Irene June Robinette was born in Unicoi, Tennessee 11 Jun 1928.⁽⁶²⁷⁾ She married Clarence Tolley 24 Dec 1953.⁽⁶²⁸⁾

5 iii. Mildred Opal Robinette was born in Unicoi, Tennessee 25 Oct 1930.⁽⁶²⁹⁾ She married twice. She married Virgil Byrd 28 Mar 1948.⁽⁶³⁰⁾ She married Clifford Morton in Unicoi, Tennessee, 6 Apr 1973.⁽⁶³¹⁾

6 iv. Ethel Robinette was born in Unicoi, Tennessee 26 Dec 1934.⁽⁶³²⁾ She married Oliver Lee Byrd in Tennessee, 3 Jan 1952.⁽⁶³³⁾

7 v. Dewey Ernest Robinette Jr. was born in Unicoi, Tennessee 5 May 1941.⁽⁶³⁴⁾ He married Shirleen Jones in California, 26 Nov 1960.⁽⁶³⁵⁾

8 vi. Emma Jean Robinette was born in Unicoi, Tennessee 16 Feb 1943.⁽⁶³⁶⁾ She married James Edison Wallin in Unicoi, Tennessee, 3 May 1963.⁽⁶³⁷⁾ James was born in Big Laurel, Madison County, North Carolina 18 Mar 1940.⁽⁶³⁸⁾ James is the son of James Roy Wallin and Helen Fain. 9 vii. Wayne Lenard Robinette was born in Erwin, Tennessee 9 Apr 1947.⁽⁶³⁹⁾ He married twice. He married Mildred Depeu 31 Jul 1970.⁽⁶⁴⁰⁾ He married Mary Mcgill Lewis in Johnson City, Tennessee, 24 Jun 2000.⁽⁶⁴¹⁾
