1. Thomas¹ Tugwell was born in England about 1630. Thomas died Dec 1684 in Virginia, at 54 years of age.

He married Mary Tarrant before 1661. Mary is the daughter of Unkn Tarrant.

Thomas Tugwell and Mary Tarrant had the following children:

2 i. Alice² Tugwell.⁽⁸¹⁰⁾ Alice died Nov 1660 in Middlesex, Virginia.⁽⁸¹¹⁾ Her body was interred 22 Nov 1660 in Middlesex, Virginia.⁽⁸¹²⁾

3 ii. Mary Tugwell was born in Middlesex, Virginia Oct 1661.⁽⁸¹³⁾ Mary died 1686 at 24 years of age.⁽⁸¹⁴⁾ She married John Bourke.

4 iii. Thomas Tugwell Jr. was born 16 Jun 1664. Thomas died 1687 at 23 years of age.⁽⁸¹⁵⁾

5 iv. Ann Tugwell was born 15 Mar 1666. She married Nicholas Rice.⁽⁸¹⁶⁾
